So the promised backpack hasn't been finished yet; not totally, anyway. I turned it in and am sure that I got a good grade on it, but there are tweaks to do before it is ready for final rendering.
Thus, HERE is a small update on the latest project completed. We had to take a sphere and push, pull, squash, and stretch it into a shape resembling a human head. Hopefully it looks vaguely human to you all. hehe

With the slacking I did, it's time for another addition. In the Artwork section there is a wine glass and bottle I created in class.

Ok, so I was really REALLY slacking on updates. I have stuff from last quarter, I just never actually took the time to put it up...
So thanks to a friendly reminder from the Lady Ice Winters, there is a nice installment of not just one, not just two, but three new animations created last quarter!

AFO Everything Else is UP! @ 3:06 p.m., 08/13/05
Nic was up all night encoding footage & writing reviews for the Cosplay Contest videos. He also wrote most of the captions under the photos in the photo gallery.
As soon as I woke up this morning I got back to putting together all the photos and the pages for video reviews.
So now all of our AFO coverage is up & available! I hoped to have it up by Friday, but Saturday afternoon at 3pm isn't too far off the mark. Have fun and welcome to the wonderful world of Cosplay & Anime Fandom!

AFO Review is UP! @ 11:12 p.m., 08/12/05
The review Nic & I wrote is live under the new section "Conventions" and we will have Photos and Videos up as soon as humanly possible. I'm working on getting all the photos pages linked properly and it's taking a lot longer than expected. But it is in process and will definitely be up sometime Saturday.
I'm dead tired or I would finish now. Damn my new habit of sleeping normal hours & working a real job, hehe.
After finalizing this review, Nic is on his way home to get back to work in chopping up & encoding the Videos. And they should be up and ready by Saturday night also.

Quick Update: Back from AFO @ 1:28 a.m., 08/08/05
Pete and I are back from AFO. It was sweetchucks to the 9th degree! Pete's working on getting everything sorted out and we're going to try really really really really really really really hard to have all our pictures/commentaries/reviews/stuff posted by this Friday Night. Promise.
I gotta go soak in the tub now and recover from all the glomping. If anyone thinks Pete and I should cos-play at AFO 7, shoot one of us an e-mail! Who'd love to see me in a giant Cait Sith costume next year? It may happen… maybe…

Pete and I felt that there hasn't been enough random music video rock out sessions in our hometown, and since we've been busy gearing up for the AFO this weekend, we haven't been able to do anything about it. Luckily, our good friend Jon K (Captain Steel) has decided to come to our aid. Armed with some top of the line music equipment, a car, and a shopping cart, he successfully has rocked Tampa Bay. (So what if the only line he knows is "It's the Ace of Spades." He still rocked it!)

So yeah, I found out Friday afternoon that I was hired to do website creation, maintenance, & content updates. I'm quite stoked about it! I've been spending the past couple weeks' free time going to a couple interviews in hopes this would happen.
The new job is part-time where this tech job I am leaving refused to let me drop back to part-time. But with the more intense and increased schoolwork, it was a necessary change. In addition, the new job is an "Artist" entry on my resume and will help increase my artistic abilities too.
Time to whip together a two-weeks-notice for the current boss and sit back & watch the disbelief on the faces of everyone here.

Well… it means that da uber geniuses Nic and Pete are going to be hanging out with all the cRaZy Cos-Players out at the AFO, we’ll be taking pictures, pimping press passes, filming junk, and doing a quasi-complete write up of this years festivities. cinemaFOOLERY is LIVE!!! @ 4:30 a.m., 07/05/05
This outlet of creativity has been a long time in the works. We had a previous domain which was pretty much only used for storage of videos and projects so that we could view them at work or share them with a select group of friends.
Now, cinemaFOOLERY is a reality and anyone can find it if they know where to look.
This site is by no means in its final and permanent format. I just wanted to see what I could whip together while refreshing my HTML knowledge and teaching myself the basics of CSS. Aren't web-based tutorials wonderful?
You'll all hear much more from me in the future, but for now, I'm going to get back to page creation and start working on the pages that are still currently devoid of content!
